Do you offer a product or service that requires people to schedule time in order to be able to enjoy it?
Perhaps people would enjoy your offering when doing it with friends rather than by themself?
Imagine you own a gym and decided to offer a new class, in which scenario do you think people are more likely to try the new class:
If you think scenario 1, great, there's not much more to do, put up a sign, send an email and let the reservations start flowing in.
However, if you think scenario 2, then that is where Calinate is trying to help.
Calinate makes it quick and easy for 2 or more people to find the date and time that everyone can make.
Once a date and time option has been booked, users are presented with all the information required to complete the booking.
People lead busy lives, together we can make it easy for them to make the most of it.
Step 1: Identify the product or service you'd like your customers to do as a group
Step 2: Generate a Calinate link that describes what people are planning for
Step 3: Use the link as part of your marketing and promotions, encouraging customers to take advantage of any current offers
Step 4: When your customers follow the link, they will then use Calinate to find and book the time that is right for them
Event Name: The name of the event as your customers will see in Calinate
Organisation Link: A short URL that is available in Calinate for users to understand more about who the organiser is, as well as any other information such as where the event is.
Booking Link (optional): If customers needs to book, then providing a link here makes it easy for them to do that once they've confirmed the date and time they can make.
Options
Option Name: The name of the specific option that a user can indicate their availability for. If the option is a time slot, then the name could be "6:30 - 7:00"
Option Simple Date: The calendar date that the option takes place. The format follows a simple date format and doesn't include time. The format is: YYYY/MM/DD e.g. 2023/05/21
The URL generator tool only supports 5 options, but it is possible to have more. As a recommendation we don't suggest including too many options, limiting to around 10 prevents users from feeling overwhelmed with all the decisions they have to make.
Once you've generated a URL test it on your iOS device to check everything works as you expect.
